Hard Rock Cafe
The new Hard Rock Cafe will rock your senses with tantalizing food and drinks and an awe-inspiring rock memorabilia from Hard Rock's unmatched collection, including pieces from New York's favorite artists.
FireBird Restaurant
FireBird recreates the look and feel of an authentic pre-Revolutionary Russian restaurant, with a stunning two-story entrance and decor that evokes a deep passion for Russian art, literature, and cuisine.
Tavern on the Green
The location for New York's most prestigious events—charity and political functions, Broadway show openings, and international film premieres—a truly wonderful place to celebrate.
Natsumi
Natsumi breaks new ground with their innovative modern Japanese cuisine. Barbara Matsamura and Chef Haru Konagaya team up here to create a strikingly new destination—two separate experiences in two adjacent sites: an elegant restaurant and a trendy Tokyo-chic bar/lounge. The word Natsumi, defined as "the reflection of the beauty of summer," is certainly evoked in this tranquil and colorful setting. In fact, the whole room is infused with a warm golden glow and earth tones. To set the mood, you'll certainly want to start with one of the distinctive and refreshing drinks or great selection of wines. Fortunately, the wine list is international, with white, red, sparkling wines, and champagne by the glass and bottle.
Gramercy Tavern
One of America's most popular restaurants, Gramercy Tavern serves inventive American cuisine in a rustic yet elegant setting. We've frequently enjoyed stopping by the Tavern Room in the late afternoon for the superb appetizers that range from a portobello tart with goat cheese, grilled baby octopus with shaved fennel and even a stuffed quail with an innovative sweet corn relish. A leg of lamb sandwich and the fish stew with tomato-saffron broth are particularly wonderful choices in the Tavern Room. After Tom Colicchio announced his departure in August 2006 to focus on his empire of Craft restaurants, much speculation began on the new direction for Gramercy Tavern's kitchen. Yet the cuisine has remained steadfastly superior, a sure mark of managerial and culinary excellence.
Per Se
In the spring of 2004, per se opened and quickly established itself as one of New York City's top restaurants. With per se, Thomas Keller brings his distinctive hands-on approach from Napa Valley's French Laundry to New York City. The restaurant reflects his intense focus on detail that extends to cuisine, presentation, mood and surroundings.
21 Club
'21' (as the Twenty One Club is known) is the quintessential New York dining experience, offering its patrons superb American cuisine, an award-winning wine list and unparalleled service in a comfortable brownstone setting.
Aureole
Owner Charlie Palmer opened this two-story brownstone establishment in 1988, quickly establishing it as one of the finest restaurants in the United States. Aureole serves an inventive progressive American cuisine and has gained a worldwide reputation for it's talented celebrity chef, elegant atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Palmer has won one many awards, including the 1997 James Beard Award for "Best Chef." Award-winning Chef Christopher Lee joined Palmer's team in late 2008 as executive chef.
Balthazar
Balthazar is a modern answer to Parisian fin de siecle brasseries. With signature red leather banquettes, aged mirrors and a vast twenty-seven foot bar, owner Keith McNally creates the most beautiful bustling brasserie this side of the Atlantic.
Blue Ribbon Sushi
Located on the same block as its sister restaurant, Blue Ribbon (Manhattan), Blue Ribbon Sushi (Manhattan) represents the collaboration of the Bromberg Brothers' Blue Ribbon approach with their partner Toshi Ueki's skill and love of Japanese cuisine. The restaurant has enjoyed huge popularity and is year after year regarded as one of New York City's top sushi bars. The menu is innovative, and displays a choice of sushi from both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans (not to mention those flown direct from the Sea of Japan on a daily basis) all extraordinarily fresh, creative and abundant. Toshi's specials and an award winning sake list make every meal a truly extraordinary Japanese culinary experience.
Delmonicos
It's hard to talk about an eating establishment that figures into the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald it almost seems unimpeachable by its longevity alone. New York seems to have no shortage of such places, but none of them are in the same vein as Delmonico's: many will tell you that there is no better steak to be had in the known world.
